Description
Lady Pendant made from vintage silver American Walking Liberty half dollar coin. It comes on a sterling silver bead chain, not the snake chain pictured. Please specify whether you'd like it to be 16", 18" or 20" long.To make one of these pieces, using traditional hammering and forging techniques, the piece is domed with a block and punches. Due to the substantial weight of the coins, there is quite a bit of labor involved. The piece is polished by hand and cast, using the lost wax method. The pieces are immersed in a blackening solution and polished. The finished piece of jewelry is cleaned and ready to be worn.
