Earrings Hand Embroidery Textile Queen Annes Lace

Queen Anne's Lace is technically a weed. But it is one of my favorite flowers. Usually when you find it the centers are a dark color. When you find one with a red center it is very unusual and folklore says that it is lucky. Queen Anne's Lace got its name when Queen Anne was working on her needlework, pricked her finger and a small drop of blood fell on the weed...thus Queen Anne's Lace.

These earrings would be a lovely compliment to one of the Queen Anne's Lace cuffs in my shop. Or, they can make a statement on their own.

Beige felted wool, lined with linen. Straight stitches and french knots comprise the Queen Annes Lace design. Each design hangs on sterling silver ear wires with a lovely glass beads to compliment the design.
