About the Artist:

I have been a full time artist, specializing in animal portraiture, since my husband was diagnosed with brain cancer in July 2006. I feel blessed to be able to stay at home, painting the things I love, and be able to care for my husband at the same time. My work has been collected around the world, from Australia and Japan to right here at home, in Canada. My dogs have gotten me through some very tough times, and I try to capture the essence of these incredible friends in each piece I create.
