Live Green … Wear Green … every EcoBangle(TM) is made of 98% recycled materials.

I am a proud member of the Trashion Team here on Etsy and I love to create beautiful pieces of one of a kind, wearable art from recycled materials.

Here's a great EcoBangle(TM) wrapped with an colorful vintage map from the early 1960's ... wearing this bangle will take you back in time for a road trip across South East Asia.

This Map Lover's EcoBangle(TM) includes the countries of Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. You will find places like Henzada in Myanmar, Udon Than in Thailand, Nhommarath in Laos and Dong Hoi in Vietnam. This section was cut from an early 196o's map published by the National Geographic Society. It has everything I look for when creating eye catching EcoBangles(TM) ... great colors and interesting place names.

I prepared the base by painting the inside and outer edges a rich green and the outside a medium blue. These colors accent those printed within the map. Next, I wrapped the EcoBangle(TM) with the carefully chosen section of map. Finally, I signed and dated the inside of the EcoBangle(TM) and added several coats of polyurethane to provide durability.

Wear it … share it … road trip back in time and across South East Asia with it!

Recycled content: heavy duty cardboard tubing, vintage map, excess paint from my painter’s pallet.

Other materials: polyurethane.
