Fat Porcelain Coffee Mug

Description

Here's a nice coffee cup/mug to start the morning with. This is one of my fat mugs... with a triple bulge reminiscent of the Michelin Man. It is porcelain, thrown on the wheel and electric fired. The handle was pulled by hand and attached later. It has a beautifully trimmed foot to lift it off the surface of the table with Sofia's Dad's "chop" mark (logo) etched into the bottom. It has two glazes on it, first it was dipped in a blueish green glaze inside and out and then a thin matte glaze was applied to the exterior only. Where the side breaks and the bottom starts a deep burnt sienna color shows through. It is dishwasher and microwave safe. It's dimensions are 5.75 inches wide, 3.75 inches deep and 4.5 inches tall.
