This calendar is the collaborative result of over a dozen "friends of the Printing & Book Arts Center" (based out of the Genesee Center for the Arts and Education) in Rochester, New York.

Each and every page of this calendar was lovingly printed on a Vandercook No. 3 Proof Press, which means each sheet was individually fed into the press. As if that's not hands-on enough, we even set the monthly grids by hand with type from our studio--no polymer here!--and finished it off with hand-binding techniques.

You will find no more beautifully diverse calendar than this one--serious charm is to be found within the pages of our calendar due to the numerous print methods used by varied artists! Images range from one to three colors and utilize lead type, wood type, linoleum cuts, polymer plates, zinc plates and wood block. Each month is an original piece of artwork from a featured local artist, including Rachael Hetzel of Pistachio Press and Amy Rau of greengirlpress, both based out of Rochester. Calendar is printed on smooth finish Green Seal certified 80# Esse paper in white. Each of the 14 sheets (front cover, 12 months, back cover) measures 10" x 15".
