Description

This necklace is made with oxidized silver chain and headpins. It has a white coin pearl attached to the chain on one end that measures about 13mm and on the other end, one of my raku, house beads.

This necklace has no clasp and is meant to be worn as a lariat. The full length is just under 23.75""

The raku process produces surface irregularities and can produce small chips and crazing. Raku produces soot most of which can be washed off, but some remains. I have washed and filed areas that were too rough. The black coloration is absorbed into the surface of the bead and ranges in color from black to light gray. All clay beads are breakable.
