**Note** The top red portion of this skirt is made from an upcycled sweater, the bottom layered green portion is made from new soft dot fabric.

My fun and unique play and petal twirl skirts were inspired by my two lovely daughters who have quite vivid imaginations. The designs have been meticulously kid tested for maximum “spinability”. If you have daughters, you know that this is of vital importance.

Each of my skirts is one of a kind. It is rare that I make two exactly alike. I design with playfulness in mind. My hem lines are undulating, my petals are ruffley, my colors and composition vary and they are made to be imperfect yet sturdy. I combine fibers to create an exciting puzzle of texture. My hems are usually rolled and my seams are professionally serged and generally exposed.

I use a knit yoga-style waistband (unless noted) that allows for multiple sizes while staying firm around the waist. This way it will grow with your child.

All of my skirts are made from materials that can be machine washed and dried. If your child wears this skirt a lot lot lot , I suggest washing on delicate to maintain the life of the garment. If your skirt contains sheer material, I suggest using a delicate cycle. A garment bag can be used to make sure that your petals do not get wrapped around other clothing.
