Description

This delightful handspun is a 2-ply spun by me, Amelia, on my Majacraft Suzie Alpaca wheel to have high twist singles and ply for greater wearability. The delightful orange and yellow on brown remind me of my father's favorite jam - marmalade - spread on nicely browned toast. Yum!

The fiber used is Crosspatch Creations' Triple Play Roving colorway "Autumn Harvest". Joan hand-dyes and then has carded into roving to blend the colors of Montana raised fine wool, viscose, xilk, and silk noil into this lovely trio of colors.

The durability of this yarn coupled with its softness tells me it would be lovely in fingerless gloves -- and 2.9 ounces means there's enough for the pair, or pair it up with a solid color for long arm warmers.
