This listing is for the LITTLEST HAPPY size (2-oz) bottle of Happy Hands. This little bottle is the perfect size for your purse or carry-on bag.

"Unscented" means that I do not add any fragrance to my special goats' milk, shea butter & honey hand creme formulation. My base does have a very slight scent of its own, but this dissipates quickly after you apply it.

[Another choice to consider is my "Tall Cotton" fragrance, which, although scented, is very light & clean.]

How "Happy Hands" Happened

I originally formulated Happy Hands for myself, after I tried -- and failed! -- to find a commercial product that worked for me.

Up here in the high mountain desert, dry hands are a year-round problem. I needed a creamy lotion that would deeply moisturize & soften my hands, but absorb quickly and NOT leave a greasy residue on my hands that would transfer to my knitting.

It took me a year to work out this formula: a lotion that is so very thick and creamy so you only need a small dollop, quickly absorbed, nourishing and moisturizing with NO greasy feel; and glossy pure white, because I don't want to add any artificial colors to my products.

Once I got the exact formula & feel that I wanted, I discovered that all my friends wanted Happy Hands, too ... So I've decided to try it out in my Etsy store.

Why "Happy Hands" Work so Well

~ Goat’s milk is naturally high in protein, triglycerides, and loaded with absorbable Vitamins A, B6, B12 and E ... making it an excellent natural moisturizer that helps hydrate and nourish your skin.

~ Bee's honey has been used in skin products since ancient times, because it is a natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.

~ Shea butter comes from the nut of the African karite tree, and is an extremely therapeutic emollient, helping to heal cracked and damaged skin.

I use pure cosmetic-grade fragrance oils (all phthalate-free) to create this scent. Because my lotion base absorbs quickly into your skin, you can enjoy the long-lasting fragrance, but the scent will NOT transfer to your fiber handiworks.

~ Cider & Cinnamon: Imagine fresh apple cider, gently warmed with a cinnamon stick. Stir in some orange zest & a sprinkle of nutmeg, and you've got it!

~ Citrus & Cilantro: wonderfully "green", spring-like fragrance, blending green tea and lemon with freshly cut grass and just a spark of cilantro.

~ Cucumber Melon: A crisp, cooling blend of fresh cucumber with a splash of sweet honeydew melon. It's the perfect summertime scent!

~ Cupcake: Cuddly and unabashedly sweet, the irresistable and by-gosh authentic scent of vanilla-frosted cupcakes fresh from the oven.

~ Grapefruit Blossom: a luscious blend of citrus and sweetness; tangy ruby red grapefruit and tangerine, with a light touch of lily.

~ Hippie Chick: A spicy patchouli-type blend of sandalwood and amber, softened and sweetened with lemongrass and narcissus.

~ Lavender & Sage: The clean, lightly floral scent of high mountain lavender blooms with a bright herbal accent of fresh sage & basil.

~ Pomegranate Guava: A tropical fruity-floral fragrance, with the irresistible summery scents of ripe pomegranate and guava.

~ Sweetie Pie: Sweet and lemony, the delicious fragrance of lemon chiffon pie with notes of lemon, brown sugar, honey and vanilla.

~ Tall Cotton: The very light, clean scent of cotton with a subtle touch of fresh milk & vanilla.

~ Tea & Roses: Warm, romantic, and slightly floral. A blend of tea leaves, honey, and roses, but not perfume-y.

~ Unscented: For those of you sensitive to fragrances, I formulate Happy Hands without adding any scent.
