The Harris Tweed Wayfarer Purse with a Leafed Branch Applique

Description

The main body of this purse is made from Harris Tweed wool in a plaid weave which I purchased from a lovely shop located on the Isle of Harris! Harris Tweed is a luxury cloth that has been handwoven by the islanders on the Isles of Harris, Lewis, Uist and Barra in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, using local wool. The Harris Tweed label is sewn onto the back of this purse!

The applique is made from ultrasuede in gray and was designed by me, hand cut and machine sewn onto the purse. The flap has a magnetic closure and is adorned by two lovely wood buttons. The purse is fully lined in a dark gray linen and there are two interior pockets to keep your things organized.

This purse is perfect for your travels through the city or the country side. Take it with you on all your journeys. Everyone will want to know where you got such a unique purse!

All my Wayfarer Purses are made with three layers of interface, two layers of fusible and one layer of thick stabilizer, to add lots of structure and durability. This is a structured purse that holds its shape.
