VINTAGE LENS necklace

Description

I made one of these for myself and received so many compliments that I pulled together more components to make another one for you.

This vintage opticians' lens was used in the office to determine spectacle perscription. This one is rimmed in a silver (slightly pitted) metal with a cross shaped hole at the handle. It is also marked with the number 150.

I've added a vintage brass 'pendulum' bead, and a brass swallow with a beautifully faceted dark orange hessonite bead, wired to its beak.

All of these components are joined on a substantial brass ring, caught by a 2 different styles of lovely antiqued brass link chain.

Total length of necklace including the pendant is about 30". This necklace can be shortened to any length you prefer. Antiqued brass lobster claw catch.
