Vintage 60's Stewardess Uniform Cape Coat
Description
This authentic stewardess (we know... flight attendant... but in the 1960's they still called them stewardesses!) from the 60's is SUCH an ultra rare find. Features a beautiful swing coat shape, one gold and pearlized button at the neck, two pockets, and an absolutely stunning bright red lining. Very light padding in the shoulders to maintain shape. A unique amalgam of Mad Men, Madeline, and Little Red Riding Hood! Love love love love love... everyone who's been by the studio wants it... but we're being good and adding it to the shop... even though it's hard... really, really hard. The dress in the photos is also for sale in our shop!!
♥ Deets
Best fits: s, m, l
Fabric: no label... our best guess is a cotton blend exterior, with a rayon lining
♥ Measurements
Shoulders: 16 in. (no shoulder seams, so allows for various sizes)
Bust: free
Waist: free
Hips: free
Length: 38.75 in.
Sleeves: 19.5 in.
♥ Condition
Really excellent vintage condition; only flaw is some very faint staining at the bottom-front of the lining... it appears to be from storage... does not show through, and is totally unnoticeable when worn. PLEASE NOTE: the lighter portion of the lining in the photo is NOT a stain, it is the light.
