Aurora Borealis:: Named after the Roman goddess of dawn, Aurora, and the Greek name for north wind, Boreas… sometimes called the northern and southern (polar) lights or aurorae, are natural light displays in the sky, usually observed at night, particularly in the polar regions. Auroras seen near the magnetic pole may be high overhead, but from further away, they illuminate the northern horizon as a greenish glow or sometimes a faint red, as if the sun were rising from an unusual direction. Auroras can be spotted throughout the world. It is most visible closer to the poles due to the longer periods of darkness and the magnetic field.

Necklace: 3 retaining rings meticulously wire wrapped together using 28ga silver plated wire to form a delicate, and intricate pendant. The center ring supports 4mm and 2.5mm emerald Swarovski crystal bicones, the lower ring supports 11mm and 7mm tanzanite Swarovski crystal teardrops and at the very bottom a single 13mm emerald ab Swarovski teardrop… The whole thing is supported by a silver plated bail which is dangles on a delicate silver plated cable chain…

Pendant: 2 1/4inches from the top of the bail to the bottom of the lowest teardrop x 3/4 inches wide

****Please Note: The retaining rings used to create this piece were not made for jewelry, they are hardware for keeping pins in machinery so there will be color variations, I do my best to completely match the rings to each other but sometimes it just isn't possible... the fact that they are not uniform in color and cosistancy adds to the charm of these pieces and just reinforces the overall "Industrial" look

This necklace is 18 inches, with a 3 inch extender chain, if you need it a custom length please don't hesitate to contact me!
