Louise Leaf Earrings

Description

These veined leaves started out as a sheet of copper. The copper has been folded & heated to give it gorgeous color. This heating process is quite random and I never know what I will end up with. Edges are sanded smooth. The wires are slightly oxidized sterling silver and formed by me. An acrylic finish as been applied to preserve the patina.

Each pair of these that I make are different. The pair that you see here is the pair that you will get.

These are about 1 1/4" long not including the wires.

These copper pieces are tricky to photograph. Please understand that the colors that you see in my photos and the way that I describe them are as accurate as I can be.
