Measuring 5.5 inches long by 4.5 inches wide , this egg shaped basket sits just 2 inches tall. It has been hand coiled in a collection of pine greens. The greens include seafoam, forest and leaf. There is also some brown, and a bit of cream and cranberry.

The basket is great for any small storage needs. It would be cute atop a desk, on the bath counter, by the bedside, or up on a shelf. It can stash spare change, lip balms, soaps, jewelry, hair bobbles, or rubber bands. It is a small, low, oval tray.

The basket comes with one bar of soap which fits perfectly inside. The crisp, pine scented soap is 3.5 oz big. It is a glycerin soap and is wrapped in fabric for a great presentation to match the basket's colors.

And, I will wrap them all up together with colored cellophane and a bow.

My baskets are made by the coiling method of basketry. Strips of fabric (both new and recycled) are wrapped around an inner cording as the shape is formed. Each one is entirely handmade with no machine stitching. Each one is unique.
