This gorgeous ring will be the pride of any woman's jewelry wardrobe! Originally conceived and written as a family ring to hold multiple birthstone beads, this ring can also easily be made as a fantastic cocktail ring.
Presented in easy to understand, step-by-step comprehensive format, with clear and close photos. Numerous tips and troubleshooting make this project easy to finish and help you create your own personal variations. There is a full section on substitution possibilities included. :^)))

This tutorial is written as an ADVANCED project. Students with more advanced intermediate skills might be ready for this challenge, but they should consider their skill set carefully.

MATERIALS:
Materials make this exact size 8 ½ ring. Wire lengths can be used up to a size 10. Larger sizes should add two inches to each measurement for every 4 sizes. You may need more or less stones and beads. Substitutions are possible - The tutorial contains a FULL SECTION on this topic!

16in. (41cm) 24g sterling silver wire (hard OR half-hard )
25in. (64cm) 26g sterling silver wire (dead soft)
20in. (51cm) 20g ½ rnd sterling silver wire.
5ft. (153cm) 30g OR 28g silver wire
8 2mm sterling silver round beads
17 3mm sterling silver saucer spacer beads with large holes (1.5mm)
7 3mm crystal bi-cones
3 4mm crystal round beads

TOOLS:
Chain nose pliers
Round nose pliers
Flush cutters
Awl or sharp darning needle
Ring mandrel
Ruler with metric markings
Craft or pen knife
26g mandrel ( 'G' steel string from guitar)

OPTIONAL:
Wire Gauge
Rawhide or nylon hammer
