Description
The cover of this thick leather journal is super soft black deerskin leather with a raw hide edge on the front flap. Book size is about 7" X 4¼" and 2" thick (18cm X 11cm X 5cm).There are 512 pages (when you count both sides of each sheet) and the paper colour is cream, with torn edges.
The wrap-around cover is kept neat with a strap that ties on the front. The pages are handbound using a combination of longstitch and chainstitch binding techniques, sewn with blue linen thread and visible on the spine in an X pattern. This type of binding makes a very sturdy and practical book structure that opens flat.
