Shakespeare in Lace 2010 Club - Quarterly Billing/US Customer/Regular Yardage Option

We are going to tackle more Shakespeare next year, but all of the projects will focus on “leading ladies”. All of the projects will be shawls or stoles. The subscriptions will include enough yarn to complete the pattern as written, the pattern, shipping, any applicable beads, and a small add-on (nothing edible - things like stitch markers, or wool wash - knitting-oriented items exclusively). You may also opt to purchase a tall option, which will give you 20% extra yardage for each kit, in case you like to do a lot of swatching or like your shawls very generous, or just want the option of modifying the pattern. (Also, if you are allergic to something in one of the yarn blends - except merino, which I kinda can’t work around! - please let me know and I can substitute out a comparable-weight and quality yarn for you)

March Kit: Lori Law of Oceanwind Knits is designing a shawl themed on Cleopatra from Antony and Cleopatra. This pattern will include beads, and the yarn is a merino/tencel blend.

June Kit: Miriam Felton of Mimknits will be designing the June shawl for us, focused on Ophelia from Hamlet. This will be knit up in a lovely merino/bamboo blend yarn.

September Kit: Kristi Schueler of Designedly, Kristi, is handling our fall theme, which is Kate from Taming of the Shrew. (Those of you who requested a deep, rich red wine colorway - take note - this is it!) Kristi’s picked a merino/silk yarn for her design.

December Kit: Kirsten Kapur of Through the Loops is designing the final piece, which will be Viola, from Twelfth Night in an alpaca/silk/cashmere yarn.

The first payment is due at the time of checkout, and then you’ll be billed via Paypal on February 1, May 1 and November 1, 2010.
