Blue Cicada Steampunk Necklace
Description
This steampunk necklace uses watch parts and a vintage watchmaker's tin to enhance the steampunk vibe of this stunning necklace. I put jeweler's resin into the tin, added the cicada and watch parts as a starter. The little crystals in the resin are vintage Swarovski. I cut the rim of the tin to add to the edginess of the piece. Dangling from the tin is a stylized watch face which has been filled with clear resin and more steamy watch parts. At the top of the tin is another gorgeous Swarovski crystal with lots of red fire. It all dangles gracefully from an 18" vintage box chain.Added on Nov 05, 2009
