This listing is for 1 pair Recycled Sterling Silver Raindrop Design. These earring findings are hand formed, slightly hammered for springiness, then hand and tumbler finished to one of 3 available finishes. Available in a a bright or oxidized matt or shiney black textured finish -- your choice.

Note: This listing is only available in this recycled Sterling Silver that i created experimenting recycling my own scrap metal...left over bits and pieces. Recycled Sterling Silver is purely my own personal naming convention for this batch of silver material which is approximately 70% fine silver & sterling silver and the remaining % is nickel silver and copper. It's a firmer material compared to sterling silver.

I have always felt that the finding, the jewelry mechanism should be as aesthetically pleasing and connected to the design of the rest of the piece. The whole piece is much stronger when there is continuity throughout. While i'm not adverse to taking commercial findings and adding a favorite bauble...it becomes much more special if the mechanism is considered with as much attention and heart as the other materials in the piece. :>

My background, over 25 years, is in both metalsmithing and computer arts. Over the years i've worked and studied at one or both in the USA, London, Switzerland and now Mexico City.
