Up for your consideration is one of the specialty sizes that I have made in the past at the request of my local dancers. A cross between the beautiful swooping edge of half circle veils with the practical reality of a rectangle, this long 3.33 yard veil (3 meters) features the maximum width of a standard rectangle for a large portion of the middle, then softly cut out at the ends to look like a half circle. You get the soft, ruffly effect of a semi-circle while having enough rectangular shape in the center to allow all those wraps that are practically impossible with a true half circle.

Gleaming hand dyed silk in 6 momme grade A China habotai silk -- just a bit more substantial than the common 5 momme used for ultra light veils, while still air worthy and semi-sheer. Beautiful depth of color due to having more silk for the dyes to bite into, as well as being significantly sturdier and offering better control in flight. This weight of silk is the perfect happy medium.

This particular piece is hemmed all around with small and very discreet silk hems that do not hinder the natural drape of the fabric; no worries about unfinished silk edges looking sloppy or catching on your costume.

Gorgeous border in a bronzed light copper (like a brand new shiny penny), deep magenta and glorious violet edges a solid black centre.

Like all my veils, it's colorfast and washable, of course.
