It has been sanded smooth and finished with a 100% safe natural wax and oil finish that leaves it as smooth as can me. I will personalize it with a child's name of your choosing. First names fit best, but I can do first and middle if you wish. Ball is almost 3" diameter and the perfect size for babies just learning to hold toys. My son is almost 8 months old and loves to push his ball on the floor and belly crawl after it.
