Malachite...The Whimsey Necklace

Description

This is Whimseys first malachite necklace. We don't know what took us so long since we love green and orbicular stones, but it did. We hope you like it as much as we do.

We hung the stone from an engraved bead strung with two green sparkly Czech glass seed beads. A silver chain floats freely above a total of four seed bead strands. Nestled in the seed bead strands are a variety of small silver beads and gemstones.

For our asymmetrical look, we hand wire-wrapped one chrysophrase faceted stone with a malachite bead on the right and attached a sterling hammered circle on the left. Our signature dangle from the hammered circle is a kiss of green malachite.

We finished the necklace with various chains and our handmade hammered sterling clasp.

Length: 16 inches.
Gemstone with bail measures: 2 inches.
Gemstone alone is 1 1/4 inches.
Chain types: long and short, rolo, engraved

We use only the highest quality nickel-free silver, never any base metal.

Malachite comes with its own Whimsey box for storage and travel, with instructions for long term care of this special piece. (See bottom right thumbnail).

Whimseys are made to be worn around the collar bone and not as a choker. We can adjust the size if you need longer or shorter.
