Agate and Cloisonne Enamel Silver Earrings
Description
The earrings were created using very ancient technique of enameling-Cloisonné (French-“partitions”)First Cloisonné enamel pieces were discovered around 10-11th century in Byzantine Empire.
I created this delicate design by forming fine silver wires on fine silver frame.
Cloisonné cells were inlayed with green and other transparent colors and fired numerous times.
Than I hand polished it to a glossy surface. An Agate framed in a silver hand formed bezels were attached as well as a hand formed ear wires.
The earrings measure-1 1/8" long and are 1" wide;
