Description

You've probably noticed that I love alpaca- I use it in many of my batts and clouds. I've bought hundreds of pounds of alpaca fiber from all over the United States searching for the softest I could find. I am so excited to offer a very special, luxury fiber that's been brewing in my mind for the past couple of years. Introducing... "Blingpaca"!!!

WHAT'S BLINGPACA?

Blingpaca is a blend of the most wonderfully delicious huacaya alpaca I could find and, you guessed it, angelina. ;) It comes in a roving preparation. I tried my best to make each blend 15% angelina/85% alpaca, but learned that not all alpaca blends easily with all kinds of angelina. So, some Blingpaca colors have up to 15% angelina while others have as little as 5% or so. This fiber is ridiculously soft.

HOW CAN I USE IT?

This luxury fiber comes in roving form so it can easily be spun as is, or use to add sparkly cocoons to art yarn, or to add bling if you card your own batts. The possibilities are endless!

THIS LISTING IS FOR:

2 oz. of Black Blingpaca. It contains natural jet black huacaya alpaca blended with Steel Flash angelina. Very glamorous!

NOTE:

The photo shows just a tiny bit of Blingpaca. You will get a bag containing 2 ounces in roving form (not rolled up like in the photos). There is an extremely small amount of VM in some of the colors, which comes right out while spinning.
