Red and Blue Poked Dots Focal Glass Bead on Sterling Omega Necklace Handmade Lampwork
Description
Guy created this wonderful glass bead in his lampwork studio. He started out with dark red glass and shaped it into a nice smooth round shape. Then he added a pattern of white and blue dots which he 'poked' to give them the three dimensional effect. He encased it in clear glass then flattened it with his glass mashers. He smoothed it out and shined it up in the flame making for a very beautiful, handmade glass bead.I wire wrapped this unique bead using fine silver wire with a spiral at the bottom, sterling daisy spacers and one light blue Czech glass bead. The pendant hangs from a sterling silver omega necklace and closes easily and securely with a sterling lobster clasp.
The pendant measures 55mm long. The glass bead is 32mm long, 24mm wide and 11mm thick. The sterling silver omega necklace is 16 inches long.
Each bead is kiln annealed for strength, durability and shine. Made with care, one by one, in our lampwork studio.
