Vintage Bates Matelasse Bedspread - Trapunto Style - Snowy White Medalions - Coverlet

Beautiful heavier weight Bates (tag attached) matelasse bedspread in the trapunto style. Love the way the medalions are raised up. Snowy white all but one yellow spot less than the size of a quarter that I noticed when putting on the bed. Size is 100" x 74" wide not including the 4" fringe. Size is twin, but would work as a coverlet on a full size bed. Overhang would be about 14" with a full on each side and about 11" with a queen on each side - including the fringe. Both bottom corners are curved - top ones are squared. Beautiful thick cotton. Very good condition! Thanks for looking!!

I take great pride in the condition of my vintage bedspreads, I lovingly soak, wash, soften and dry my spreads, they will arrive wonderfully fluffy and sweetly smelling to go right on your bed. Chenilles should just be fluffed in the dryer on a low setting for about 20 minutes - it refluffs them for optimal softness!
