Vintage pottery berry Jam jelly pot jar Knotts Berry Farm
Description
This is an older jam jar from Knotts Berry Farm in California. Knotts was well known in the 1950s for its Boysenberry products, its western village, train ride, and shootouts, and its farmhouse chicken dinner restaurant. It has now become a large rollercoaster amusement park.This little pottery jam pot would have been purchased in the gift shop several decades ago. It has a blue "Made in Japan" sticker still attached. The size is 5 1/4" high and about 2 1/2" in diameter. The condition is good with no chips, cracks, or nicks on the surface. There is a bit of crazing on the lid, and also the underside, but I do not see any on the interior. This would make a great gift for yourself, but also to include in a box of homemade jams or jellies.
