The math clock features an equation for each hour of the day. The answer to the equation or variable is equal to the current hour.

The clock features a high quality movement mounted to a recycled acrylic stand. The black background is actually a classic 5 1/4 inch floppy disk, adding to this clocks beauty and geekness. Finally the face of the clock is a laser etched DVD.

Answers to the equations

For 12:00 pie = 3.14

(3.14 - .14) = 3 times 4 = 12

For 1:00

58-57 = 1

For 2:00

2 times 1 = 2

For 3:00

1/16 = .0625
96/2 = 48
.062 times 48 = 3

For 4:00
Square root of 16 = 4

For 5:00
Cube root of 125 = 5

For 6:00
12 divide by 2 = 6

For 7:00 X=7

45 - 49 (x squared) = -4
-4 + 7 = 3

For 8:00 X=8

25/2 = 12.5
100/8 = 12.5

For 9:00
Square root of 81 = 9

For 10:00 X=10
-8 - 2 - 10

For 11:00

2 times 22 = 44 divided by 4 = 11
