Learn Your Russian Series Be A Hero
Description
I'm still at it with the Russian, although this time I'm using something different than my retro flashcard set. This time I used the (blown-up) copy of a World War 2 Russian propaganda stamp that I clipped from a book. The Russian below reads "Be a hero." This I stitched to a vintage German Wundertüte bag. Wundertüte run along the same principle as a pack of baseball cards: You buy the bag with a little something is inside (in this case it was stamps) along with a stick of gum, but you don't know exactly what you'll get until you take a peek after purchase. All in all, the collage is slightly larger than an average postcard.
