Description

I have always had a big heart for the black continent. But I do have a real bound with Africa since I have an adopted daughter with roots in Ethiopea.I am really inspired by the beautiful handmade jewelry of African Women.

In this collection I try to evoque a little glimpse of their beautiful adornments.
I work with:
- fabric and wool
- African Trade beads
- ceramic beads
- Ethiopean silver
- repurposed vintage beads

This necklace is a mix of:
- handmade felted pebbles
- blue turquoise stones
- Ehtiopean silver beads
- gorgeous red coral stones
- black ebony wooden beads
- Distressed grey wooden beads
The necklace closes with an blue enameled coco button and has a lenght of 48 cm/19 inches.
