Little Fiddlehead Earrings - Oxidized Silver

Description

Fiddlehead Earrings are made from sterling silver wire that I form freehand then hammer to give them this great look. They are oxidized to a nice warm color.

My inspiration for these earrings comes from my youth when I lived in New Brunswick Canada. My mom used to make us take the canoe across the Tobique River to a small island and we would pick them. They are basically a very young fern and are delicious when they are prepared fresh and tend to be bitter if stored or frozen for later use.

Earring length: approximately 3/4” or 2 cm from top of hook to bottom of fiddlehead. Ear wire extends longer in back than front.
