As a teenager my family dragged me and my siblings from country to country around the globe. In each new place my father would make us wait for him as he took picture after picture of the different varieties of exotic and unique flora along the way. It was not until I was older as I look back in appreciation and I realize, that although nature unfolds to revel a plethora of shapes and designs that are unique from climate to climate, almost all plants across the globe start as a sprout, regardless of climate, continent, or country. With simple lines and elementary curves before they unfold to reveal the secret designs hidden inside.These Curly Sprout earrings are formed freehand from sterling silver that is then oxidized to a beautiful dark patina.
I made the first pair and gave them to my sister. She in return wrote the above description for me. That is also her modeling her new pair of these earrings in the photo. Thanks Sis!
