Description

It's getting dark and cold here. This book was inspired by a particularly blustery day where birds and leaves and rain were flying everywhere.
This 5.5x8.5” book with lined pages is the perfect size for journaling. The paper cover, made of art card and wrapped in decorative paper, is sturdy and durable. I use decorative papers for the end pages and smooth, heavyweight lined paper for the pages. The exposed, non-adhesive binding style is called buttonhole, which is both ornamental and functional. I love using this binding because the book opens flat without breaking the spine. The visible stitching on the spine also adds a nice decorative element.
