Autumn Brooch No.3

Description

Lately I've been seeing many things made out of vintage neckties, dresses, skirts, headbands, bracelets and brooches. While at an auction over the weekend with a friend I found many vintage neckties in beautiful fall colors. I love mixing the ties with feathers and vintage buttons.

This brooch has a 2 unique vintage buttons in gold and dark bluish black, golden tulle, coordinating fabric pieces (with raw edges) and a beautiful feather in golden and rust. The vintage ties pieces used here are in dark blue and white polka dots and a checked ite in gold, dark blue, cream and goldish brown. This brooch has a very layered look.

This little brooch/pin looks great on a jacket, coat, dress, bag, sweater, scarf or hat. Recently, a fellow Etsian wrote and suggested these pins/brooches could also make a groom's boutonniere. I think she had a great idea...the pins are very unisex.

This brooch is small it measures 3 1/2 inches x 2 1/8 inches. (Or 8,9cm x 5,4cm)
