Hand Painted Soft Washable Worsted -- Feeling Foggy

This listing is for one 100gram skein of yarn as shown in photos. I have one available; the second skein has sold.

Feeling Foggy: kind of sea-mist bluey-green, kind of stormy seas, kind of waves crashing on rocks, kind of grey, kind of brown...This could be very nice for a man's hat and/or scarf.

The base yarn is 100% wool that has been mercerized. This is the process used to make wool yarns satiny, smooth and machine washable. This yarn is merino soft and has a lovely hand and drape, and excellent stitch definition. I have knit with it myself, and it is lovely.

100g/200yds/per skein
18-20st=4" on 4.5-5.0mm needles

Hand wash or Machine Wash in cool or lukewarm water on gentle cycle. Lay flat to dry (recommended).

This is an excellent yarn for sweaters, hats, scarves, mittens socks, children's items, baby blankets, afghans, shawls, and anything else you can think of. I can wear it next to my skin. It is nice and soft.

I hand-dye all my yarns one at a time, with care and attention to detail. I live in a non-smoking, dog/cat-free home.

I ship surface/ground to the US and Canada. This is the cheapest rate available from Canada, and most packages arrive in one to two weeks.

If you prefer the cheaper method of shipping and don't mind a really long wait, I can refund you the difference between Airmail and surface and ship it that way instead.
