Aoi means blue, yuki means snow, and hime is the word for princess! So quite literally blue snow princess. A unique and one of a kind hair accessory.
I hand dyed the silk with blue to look like snow.You can see small dots of blue throughout the whole piece!!
This kanzashi consists of 1 main flower~
It is made out of 20 pieces of hand dyed silk.
The kanzashi features some vintage small real mother of pearl stamen and a blue glass Swarovski stone in the middle. There is also a silk dangle with 3 large pearl beads and a bell to ring in the new year.
This piece is mounted on a silver toned hair barrette.
Each petal is folded individually and attached to a base using rice starch and the backs are covered with 100% wool felt in a matching color.
