Reflections, Huge Metalic Nunofelted Scarf, Wrap

Description

The scarf/wrap is nunofelted - extra fine merino wool in shades of musturd yellow, darker red, violet, orange, burgundy and teal is felted into a cotton fabric with metallic thread. As the wool shrinks in a felting process it pulls the fabric creating the ruched effect and little silver metallic loops.

The scarf has an excellent drape and is very soft. The base fabric is beautiful grey in two shades. Thanks to a metalic thread it shimmers in the sun and light. Truly unique.

This is probaly the longest piece I have ever felted. It measures 280 cm x 37 cm or 112 x almost 15 inch.

Gently handwash in lukewarm water, dry flat and dry clean.
