The Victorian Egg Collection PENDANT

I have always loved the colour plates in my antique bird books. The ones of bird eggs are especially beautiful. There's something about the old inks and printing process that captures the delicate quality of the eggs perfectly.

For the first time I have reproduced an entire Victorian colour plate from my collection on this pendant. The tiny writing and identifying numbers are still in place although you might need a magnifying glass to read them.

The image is printed onto clay and coated with a layer of waterproof glaze. The pendant is about 3cm x 4.5cm.

The pendant hangs from a silver plated spring bail. You can easily string it onto the necklace, choker or brooch of your choice. The ribbon shown here is for display only. If you would like a ribbon necklace I have some for sale in my store in the "ribbon necklaces" section.
