Samantha Hallenus has participated in the Metairie Art Guild and the Louisiana Watercolor Society. She has placed in Member's Shows for both groups for watercolor paintings. She has participated in Art Fest at the Louisiana Children's Museum, as a demonstrator. She has been selected to participate in the past in the Louisiana Arts & Artists Guild's Shows and St. Tammany Art Association Shows. Her watercolor "Flowers To Brighten the Day" was selected by the Keyes Gallery in Missouri for one of their juried shows. She was selected to participate in the Recycle 4 the Arts - Worn Again Project 2008.


She is also teaching with the Jefferson Parish Recreation Department
