They are made of a strong stretchy nylon and double layered and then OVERLOCKED for a durable and professional finish. overlocked seams do NOT fray or loosen with time, look at any t-shirt you've had for years or ask anyone that uses a serger and sewing machine. This is a great new way to go 'green' this year! There is nothing worse than fighting to get one of those little awful plastic bags open at the grocery store, that its, if you can find a roll that has bags actually available on it!

Easy to care for, too. Just wash in the sink with a mild soapy water, rinse and then lay out to dry. As you can see, these bags can accommodate many different fruits and veggies, and even bulk food items.
