Pine Cone Necklace

This nature inspired necklace is made with Czech glass seed beads and triangle beads, and features a found object pendant. Colors include emerald, jade green, brown and rusty orange.

The large wooden ring has been transformed into a shimmering pine cone by covering it with a jacket of seed beads. A variation of right angle weave was used to create the oval shapes that mimic the texture of a real pine cone. The pine bough necklace straps are made with branch fringe, and are finished with a matching seed bead toggle clasp.

The big pine cone pendant is 7 inches (18 cm) around, 2 inches (5 cm) across, and 1 ½ inches (4 cm) tall. The necklace straps are each 10 inches (25 ½ cm) long, including the clasps.
