Caroline Was a Scorpio Victorian Zodiac Fiberart ACEO
Description
First in this new ACEO (tiny 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch collectible work of art)series. Features bead embroidered flowers and leaves, and a peyote stitched "frame" for Caroline's face. Handpainted whole cloth, bound with sari silk secured with burgundy perle cotton. Mod-Podged paper backing fused over heavy Peltex stabilizer for stability.Though her name begins with C, a Jupiter-ruled letter, I couldn't resist naming this anonymous determined-looking Victorian lady the forceful (at least I think it is)name Caroline... perhaps she was born near the Sagittarius cusp.
Approximately 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. Not washable.
A couple of notes on the pictures: The first pic was taken at an angle--the card *is* a rectangle, not a trapezoid. The second pic is a closeup of the bead embroidered flowers, and the third shows the reverse side of the card.
