Hair barrette
Description
Curly hair barrette or hair slide made of solid bronze, copper and nickel silver. Each barrette is hand shaped, welded, and pounded. This barrette is a medium to large size and should fit most peoples hair great. These barrettes are great at holding hair. Many people have told me they are the only things that actually stay in their hair. These are also great as scarf or shawl pins.Each barrette I make is unique so the one you see here is the one you will receive.
*Measurements*
It measures with the stick 5.5 inches (14 cm) long and 2.75 inches (7 cm) wide.
*Hair Barrette Instructions*
The barrette and the stick are each slightly bent so they will fit tightly together. Twist the stick to release it from the barrette and pull it out. To fasten, place the barrette on top of your hair and slide the stick through the barrette so the curve of the stick is down (like a shallow “u”) then twist the stick into place. You should hear it snap. If this is too tight, the barrette and stick are each adjustable. You can bend the barrette to have a slightly greater curve if needed.
