Shell Shaped Chrysocolla Jasper Pendant

Description

This is a listing for one (1) large chrysocolla jasper pendant. It is flat on the back like a cabochon and from the top, the hanging hole cannot be seen, so it could be used as if it were a cabochon. This piece is a stylized shell shape, and the colors are that great green and turquoise of chrysocolla jasper. There is some interesting black matirx and tiny spiderweb type markings.

The stone is softly pointed at the top where a good sized hole is drilled horizontally near the tip. It is thicker near the top and domed, tapered towards the bottom of the stone. The top is highly polished. The back is matte and smooth.
