Simple As - Natural Falkland Handspun Yarn (70 yards)

My little sister married an Englishman and has started to speak with slight English-isms every once in a while. I'll tell a story and she'll remark, "Bless." Or she'll say something and finish with, "Simple as."

This smooshy, squishy, undyed, very thick/thin Falkland wool handspun yarn is incredibly soft, warm, and snuggly. Simple as.

This is "true" Falkland Islands wool, imported by me directly from DHF farm's distributor, then spun with lots of love. It is a soft, sproingy merino cross wool. Since there are no known sheep diseases on the Falkland Islands, no chemical dips are necessary. Mulesing is not performed, either. Happy sheep! :)

This Whirligig yarn was spun and plied on my trusty wheel Indigo Montoya, then was soaked in lavender Eucalan to set the twist before hanging just out of the sunshine to dry.
