Description

Finally, my famous crochet Aussie snuggly ugglies for people with big feet! This is a similar design to my baby booties and have taken me over a year to perfect. It is quite chilly down here right now and these ugglies are toasty warm.

This pattern package gives crochet instructions for ugglies in 2 stitch counts. Adjust the size by using different yarn weights. I have endeavoured to keep it simple. There is a bit of stretch in these with an approximate foot length:
1. Child - 18cm/7in
2. Preteen - 20.5cm/8in
3. Adult Small - 23cm/9in
4. Adult Large - 26cm/10.5in

Sizes 1 and 2 = 8ply/ worsted weight yarn, 3.75 - 4mm/ G hook and fluffy yarn with a 4.5mm/ H hook

Sizes 3 and 4 = 12 ply/ chunky with a 4.5 mm hook. Have fun experimenting with different textures

Instructions are provided in Australian/English and American terms.

These are original crochet patterns inspired by the Australian lifestyle and environment. The Ugg boot is an Australian icon, and is made from 100% sheepskin and fleece. Ugg boots have been around down here since the Second World War and were popular in the 60s and 70s for surfers. They were considered bogan until their recent raise to fame. Because the real uggs are made of wool I prefer to crochet these in pure Australian wool to achieve the woolly warmth. While the soles are wool, you may wish to add an inner sole or felt cut out for extra comfort.

The pattern will come to you as a pdf file in Australian /British and American terminology. If there is any thing you don’t understand, just email me. Because I email you the file there are no shipping costs and I aim to deliver within 24 - 48 hours of payment.
