This locket is perfect for all of you poetry and novel lovers! Mark Twain was born in 1835 and is unsurpassed in American literature. His novel "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn", a masterpiece of humor, characterization, and realism, has been called the first (and sometimes the best) modern American novel. During his lifetime, Twain became a friend to presidents, artists, industrialists, and European royalty.

This famous portrait of Mark Twain is captured and mounted on a charming brass book locket (how fitting) which has a warm golden antique oxidized patina. The image is printed on Kodak Endura's metallic paper which brings out the warm tones and adds a pearlescent sheen to it. It makes him look 3D and is simply amazing! The image is sealed with a glass-like coating for protection and shine and the locket hangs like a miniature painting on a 16 inch brass rolo chain, which may be lengthened to 18 inches per your request at no extra charge. The chain is finished with a lobster clasp.

Inside the locket, there are 2 empty recessed oval areas for you to mount your favorite pictures of your own choosing. These small openings measure 3/4 of an inch tall.

The book locket measures a petite 1 inch tall.
