Our ballad to the hippie series. Hippie is a smooth mysterious, sensual blend, just like our favorite hippies. It is a natural earthy blend of Ylang Ylang, Patchouli, Sandalwood, & a hint of Vanilla. Together, said to be perfect for meditation & centering the soul. Ylang Ylang possesses a sweet, intensely floral, jasmine-like aroma. It is said to often be used as an anti-depressant and hormone balancing, as well as a spiritual balancer. Ylang ylang has a reputation for acting as an aphrodisiac. Patchouli possesses a warm, mellow, earthy scent that was especially popular in the 1960s. It is an said to be an effective anti-depressant and stress reliever. Sandalwood is thought to balance the mind and spirit, aid in meditation, calms the nervous system, and also work as an aphrodisiac, especially for men. Peace to hippies everywhere! :-)

Our lotions contain Goats Milk, Honey, Shea Butter, Sunflower Oil and Allantoin. This rich lotion absorbs well and is super moisturizing. Goats milk & honey based lotion is good for sensitive skin old and new alike. The moisture has a non-greasy, silky feel that we have fallen in love with and we are sure you will too!

Goats milk is high in protein, triglycerides, Vitamin A, B6, B12 and E making it an excellent natural moisturizer that helps hydrate and nourish skin. Honey is a natural humectant, anti-bacterial, anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory. It is high in vitamin C and thought to promote collagen formation in the skin. Shea Butter is well known in helping moisturize while providing a silky protective barrier to all skin types. American Indians were the first to discover the healing properties of Sunflower Oil that is rich in Vitamin E that helps moisturize and regenerate skin. Allantoin is thought to have the ability to help heal wounds, sores and stimulate growth of healthy tissue. It is a skin softener and anti-irritant. Together these ingredients produce a thick, rich lotion that is as pleasing as it is good for your skin.

Since we believe in going back to the basics, you will find that our products are made with goats milk & local wild harvested honey or beeswax, as we believe in the nourishment and protection these wholesome ingredients provide our skin. Our honey is likely even flower by some of the botanicals used in our products as it harvested by our friend & neighbor Mr. Milton. Some of our older Market customers laugh and tell us milk & honey was the beauty treatment Grandma would use & how she "had the skin of Cleopatra", then quickly make their purchase. THE GOOD STUFF FOUND IN OUR PRODUCTS:

* Organic Virgin Coconut oil: has been found to be the best source of monolaurin, a well known antiseptic substance found in breast milk,
natural antifungal, moisturizer & protectant

* Shea Butter/ Oil: it protects the skin against weather, sun and aging. It is a well-known anti-inflammatory to assist cutaneous dryness, dermatitis and dermatoses, eczema, solar erythema and burns. It is a well known in helping moisturize while providing a silky protective barrier to all skin types.

* Vitamin E: anti-oxidant, protectant

* Calendula: most recognized for its ability to help heal wounds and abrasions

Honey is full of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and enzymes. Has an emollient property, is soothing and humectant. Emollients make the skin feel softer and smoother, reduce rough feeling, cracking and irritation. Honey is cleansing and antibacterial. Bacteria cannot live in honey, which demonstrates its natural preservative properties. a natural anti oxidant and anti-inflammatory.
